Coalville RFC v Spalding RFC (Saturday, 3pm): TOWN wrap up a satisfying season with a winnable trip to mid-table rivals Coalville.

A win would see Spalding secure a finish in the top ten of Midlands One East – something not to be sniffed at in their first year in the division.

Skipper Harry Sharman admits that he’s pretty happy with the club’s progression.

He said: “I think if somebody had offered us our current league position and some silverware before the season started, we’d have probably accepted it.

“It’s been a tough campaign, but overall we’re pretty happy.”

Sharman himself misses the game through suspension, but young prop Peter Waudby is expected to feature having impressed of late.

Development duo Ash Ankar and Jacob Harwood will also continue after strong showings at Ilkeston last Saturday.
