Wellingborough RFC v Spalding RFC (Saturday, 3pm): WITH Midlands One East survival all but secured, Harry Sharman has urged his side to turn on the style.
After ending their morale-sapping losing spree with a battling 3-0 success at Dunstablians last week, the confidence has come surging back at the Memorial Field.
And the Spalding skipper wants to see a much-improved showing this weekend as his charges bid to place as high as they can in their first season at this level.
Sharman said: “Although we won last weekend, we under-performed.
“We’ve had a bit of a pasting in training this week, but the pressure has been lifted somewhat by the win.
“It’s important that the lads start enjoying their rugby again and I want to see us play some better rugby.
“Obviously it’s pretty hard to produce our best in boggy conditions like last weekend, but I’m sure we’re getting back on track.”
Town go into the game ten points clear of their hosts in the table, having played two games less.
They won the Memorial Field reverse 25-15 back in November.
Harry Brown is set to return to the squad, while Dave Hankinson and Jimmy Rowlands are also pushing for a recall.
Rowlands made a big impact as a substitute las weekend.
But Ben Hoyles misses the trip.
