Spalding RFC v Syston RFC (Saturday, 3pm): HARRY Sharman has got a funny feeling that Town will upset the Midlands One East leaders at the Memorial Field.
Syston have won 17 of their 20 games this season – including a dominant 33-0 win over Spalding back in November.
But the Town skipper reckons his side can pull a vintage performance out of the bag.
He said: “If you look back over the past few years, we usually save our best for the big teams.
“I’ve got a funny feeling that we’ll beat them on Saturday. If we play to our ability we certainly have enough in our locker.”
Youngster Lawrence Rayner returns the squad, as he has no game for Bedford Blues’ Academy.
He did line up for the Blues last weekend though - and came up against fellow Spalding Grammar School youngster Jethro Rawlings, who was playing for Leicester Tigers U/19s at Russell Park.
Rawlings’ Tigers won the game 46-25, but Rayner scored 15 points.
