Unbeaten Spalding RFC raced eight points clear at the top of Midlands Two East (North) with a handsome 41-10 win over Melbourne on Saturday.

The Memorial Field victory is Town’s sixth from as many games - and it yielded yet another bonus point.

Down in Midlands Four East (South), Bourne were edged out 22-17 by visitors Corby at Miking Nook Drove.

A fifth loss from six games keeps Bourne in the bottom two.

More rugby in Tuesday’s Lincolnshire Free Press.
