Spalding RFC make the long trip to Dronfield this Saturday (3pm) as they return to Midlands Two East (North) action.

Morale is high at the Memorial Field after a positive showing in last weekend’s narrow 41-39 RFU Intermediate Cup loss at Market Harborough – although Town must do without vice skipper Ryan Chappell (broken hand) in North East Derbyshire.

Spalding skipper Harry Sharman said: “I’m quietly confident off the back of Saturday’s showing. What we saw was a glimpse of the talent and potential our young side has.”

Town welcome back Richie Craig, while George Brown is expected to fill in for the injured Chappell.
