WAKES: Bugbrooke barrage batters beleaguered Bourne

BUGBROOKE ST MICHAELS 6 (Arundell 30, Ansell 43 & 76, Hyams 69, Ainsworth 81, Allen 87) BOURNE TOWN 0

IT'S now 13 goals conceded in just three UCL Division One games for beleaguered Bourne after this tonking.

Having been demoted last season on a ground grading issue, the Wakes have made a slow start to life in step six of the Non-League ladder.

It took half an hour for the Badgers to break the deadlock through Ross Arundell, and they doubled their lead two minutes before the interval through Marc Ansell.

Jason Gough missed a penalty before the Wakes' hopes were all but ended by goals from Ben Hyams and Arundell.

Subs Dean Ainsworth and Lance Allen emerged from the bench to pile on the misery for Bourne in the last ten minutes.

Bourne: Jarman, Butler, Gough, Smith, Canny, Mason, Forbes, Dunn (Walkin), Lambie, Palmer (Munton), Brockbank.

Saturday - Wotton BC v Bourne (3pm).
