TULIPS: U-turn from Irvine

ALEX Irvine will not be replacing former boss Alan Biley at the Spalding United helm.

The Lincolnshire Free Press reported on Friday that Irvine had taken the reins Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field, but it appears he has had a change of heart.

Consequently, the Tulips are without a manager for their first pre-season training session on Tuesday night.
