TIGERS: Seeking consistency

Holbeach Utd v Newport Pagnell Town (Saturday, 3pm)

THE only thing that is consistent about these two teams is their inconsistency.

Both are capable of beating anyone on their day, but they find themselves in mid-table after average first halves to the season.

After the spree of inclement weather forced a stop-start January, Tigers player/boss Shaun Keeble - fresh off a delightful chipped winner for Holbeach's Reserves against Moulton's second string last weekend - is looking forward to a return to first-team action.

He said: "It was frustrating to have last weekend's game postponed, I felt the pitch would have been playable come kick-off time.

"We're keen to kick-start our season by going on a good run, hopefully starting on Saturday.

"Pagnell are a decent side but they are up and down like ourselves, you never know what you're going to get from them."

Keeble has a full-strength squad to chose from, with only long term absentee Karl Horsewood (knee) doubtful for the clash.

Holbeach won the reverse 2-1 back in September.
