DEEPING RANGERS 3 (Logan 57, Holt 69, Beck 87) IRCHESTER UNITED 0: THREE second-half goals eased Deeping to their first UCL Premier Division win of 2012.

After a goalless first period, Chris Logan, Ciaran Holt and Alex Beck struck to end Rangers’ barren run of four winless league matches.

For Holt, it was a maiden goal for the club on his first start, while Beck bagged on his first Outgang Road outing – making it 20 for the season for the ex-Boston Town hitman.

Player/boss Tuncay Korkmaz said: “It’s nice to see the new lads come in and do well.

“It was a very professional performance and a straight-forward success.”

Deeping bossed the first half, but only really had a Scott Ginty effort – which was well saved – to show for their efforts.

After the break, Logan met a Steve Julian pass on the full to smash home the opener, before Holt poked home an opportunist second.

There was still time for Beck to bury his second Rangers goal in as many games with a glancing header late on.

Deeping: Doughty, Tinkler, Jackson, Logan, Julian, Weston, Gilbert, Burton-Jones (Brader), Beck, Holt, Ginty (Heron). Not used: Simpson, Leisner, Waumsley.

Saturday: Newport Pagnell v Deeping (3pm).
