MOTORSPORT: Quintet enjoy fine season with TRM

FIVE Holbeach racers enjoyed super seasons for TRM Racing.

Mark Rudd led the way in the motocross ranks, showing great consistency to win both the Norfolk and Suffolk and Norwich and District championships.

He is now fully recovered from a horrific crash at Weston-super-Mare and will be defending his titles next season.

Ryan Rudd also enjoyed a solid year on the motocross scene, taking fourth overall in the Norfolk and Suffolk championship and an impressive third in the Norwich and District.

His efforts earned him the accolade of 'Most Improved Rider' in the small wheel 85 class.

He moves up to the big wheel 85 section next season.

Younger brother Ashley is consistently improving, taking eighth in in Norfolk and Suffolk ranks and seventh on the Norwich scene.

He also took second place in the NoraSport Supermoto youth competition.

Staying with supermoto, Lee Rudd took second in both the Propa.com British Championships and the NoraSport championships (light CRF 250 section).

He also made a string of appearances on the TV show Blood Sweat and Gears.

He will be racing on a CRF 450 bike next season.

Ben Stafford was another to fair well in 2009, taking third place in the Propa.com champs as well as starring at the Sportcity in Manchester - which was hit by bad weather.

The guys thank TRM Racing, LR Fines, Acerbis, Putoline Oil, Mark at Holbeach Tyres, Evo Tech, G & D Engineering, A Woods, RM Burwell, Lincs Lambrettas and Vesty UK for their help and support.
