INDOOR CRICKET: Super Sacks clinch crown

Moulton Harrox CC Golden Dukes (-16) lost to Long Sutton Sacks (104) by 120 runs.

DOMINANT Sutton clinched the inaugural Spalding Indoor Cricket League title with this crushing win.

Sacks lost the toss and were invited to bat first.

Despite some reasonable bowling they got off to a great start thanks to some attacking batting from Adam Wright (22 points). The innings gained even more momentum when Tim Norris (59) came to the crease.

In reply, Golden Dukes struggled as they lost 19 wickets in total. Wright was once again on form, picking up 27 bowling points.

Played & Missed (39) beat Baston Tarts (24) by 15 runs.

THIS was Played and Missed's first win of the season.

Baston scored steadily but lost wickets at regular intervals as they made just 24. Dave Candy (11) was the pick of the bowlers.

Played and Missed started their reply poorly losing several early wickets but a good final partnership between Jack Barratt (8) and Stu Parker (16) saw them home.

Ben Hudson (3) was the pick of the Tarts' attack.
