INDOOR BOWLS: Top trio ready for popular Spalding Open

Spalding Indoor Bowls Club again welcomes a number of the world’s best players over the festive period.

The club is holding its annual ‘Spalding Open’ at the Castle Sports Complex just after Christmas.

Starting on Friday, December 28 (from 6.45 pm), the event runs through to Saturday, December 29 – culminating in the final at around 9pm.

Three of the world’s top ten indoor bowlers are playing, with Nicky Brett, Mark Royal and Simon Skelton all vying to land the crown.

A host of senior and junior internationals will also feature, as will a number of Spalding IBC players – who will be hoping to be the first home winner. All are welcome to come down and support the event.
