GYMNASTICS: Holbeach and Fenland get big boost

Members of Holbeach and Fenland Gym Club are jumping for joy after receiving a £500 donation from Long Sutton-based St Mary Lodge.

The club, who hope to use the donation towards new equipment and coaching courses, are very thankful for the generosity of St Mary Lodge – who were approached by parent Jackie Taylor.

The cheque was presented by Jim Sneddon, who said: “I have great pleasure in presenting this donation from the Brethren of the Saint Mary Lodge, Long Sutton.

“We are delighted to contribute to the hard work and dedication of the members and committee of Holbeach and Fenland Gym Club, it gives us great pleasure to help local groups that work so hard to provide opportunities for local youngsters.”
