FOOTBALL: Ex-Tulip Millson suffers broken leg

Wednesday, 3.30pm - FORMER Spalding United midfielder Adam Millson suffered a broken leg in Boston United's 1-0 Lincs Senior Shield success over Grantham Town on Tuesday night.

Millson, who enjoyed a successful stint on loan at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field earlier this season, hobbled out of the Meeres Stadium on crutches after the Pilgrims lifted the county trophy.

He has played just five times for parent club Boston this season after breaking the same leg at Nantwich in April.

Tuesday night's match was only his second Boston start of the campaign.
