Nene Valley Harriers stormed to a hat-trick of team wins as they dazzled at the second round of the North Midland League at Kettering.

The senior ladies stretched their lead at the top by 18 points with an impressive win. Grace Mullins led the way in fourth overall (1st U/20), while Cat Foley (6th) and Ruth Jones (12th) backed her up well.

Also victorious were the U/17 boys, as Chris Allison enjoyed his best race of the season so far to finish strongly in second. Billy Mugnier (6th), James McCrae (7th) and Nathan Tweed (14th) all finished well.

The U/15 boys, missing their top two scorers, had possibly the best team win. Ollie Bowling (5th), Cameron Marshall (6th), Bradley Spurdens (7th), Damian Rutterford (8th) and Dan Corrigan (12th) all finished superbly.

Zak Stevens’ third place was the highlight for the U/13 boys, as they finished as second team. Ollie Oakley (11th) and Charlie Banford (17th) also scored well.

A depleted U/13 girls squad also performed well, with Rosie Marshall (16th) their best finisher. The U/15 girls were also under-strength, but Elisha Reid (10th) and Alice Gibbons (14th) helped them finish as the fifth-placed team.

The U/17 girls managed fourth place, thanks to fine runs from Emma Hornsby (11th), Alanna Payne (14th), Alice Dolan (15th), Holly Wise (16th) and Sarah Chan (17th).

Vet Michael Moore led the senior men home in 16th, with U/20 runner Lloyd Kempson 41st and Sean Beard just behind in 46th.
