TRM Racing’s Ashley Rudd swept to a hat-trick of first places in a meeting at Sculthorpe in Norfolk last Sunday.
Competing in the small wheel category, the young rider – who turns 13 on Sunday – proved unbeatable.
Elder brother Ryan (15) had designs on a win in the second of his three races. But a crash on the last lap scuppered his hopes, although he still managed to remount and grab third place.
He also finished third in his other two races in the big wheel class.
And the youngest of the brothers, Kieran, finished second overall in the autos category, which was a great outcome after spills in all his races. He finished 3rd, 1st and 2nd.
The Holbeach boys’ uncle, Lee, took the opportunity for a rare outing in motocross.
Normally a supermoto rider, he steered his Honda CRF250 to 3rd overall in the adult class.
Lee will return to supermoto on Sunday at a meeting which runs alongside British Superbikes at Silverstone. Ryan and Ashley will compete too.
And that will be the final competitive racing before Lee and Ryan – who is now old enough to take part – head to the Mettet event in Belgium on October 8 and 9.
