Kirton ace Ben Wilson is aiming to move up the riders’ standings as the British Superbike Championship reaches the halfway stage at Thruxton on Sunday.
He heads into round six of the championship looking to produce two solid performance on his Gearlink Kawasaki.
Thruxton is another circuit his team have no previous data for and Wilson will spend much of the free practice sessions trying to find a suitable set-up for the fast and bumpy Hampshire track.
The weekend begins tomorrow with two free practice sessions, the first at 10.10am followed by the second at 3.35pm.
The third session is on Saturday at 10.30am ahead of the three-section qualifying at 3.35pm.
Sunday is race day and Wilson will be out for a short warm-up session at 10.50am to make sure all is well for the first race, which takes place over 20 laps at 1.30pm.
Race two, over the same distance, is at 4.30pm.
