Youngsters from Abbey High Fliers Trampoline Club of Spalding were privileged to be joined at a training camp by Kat Driscoll.

The double Olympian, world and European medallist was fresh from the Rio final where she finished sixth.

Driscoll spent a great deal of time discussing her recent experiences in Rio and London 2012.

She spoke about her long career which includes world synchronised and team titles and a European silver medal which she brought along with her Olympic leotards and kit, including the closing ceremony flashing shoes for everyone to have a look at.

Driscoll then took part in a question and answer session for over an hour with the Spalding bouncers which included questions ranging from who she looks up to in the trampolining world (Rosie MacLennan – double Olympic champion and long-time friend) to the skill she found the hardest to learn.

This was followed by a photo and autograph session where Driscoll signed everything from t-shirts and photos to phone cases and trampoline shoes.

Christine Mumby was presented with the Star of the Month trophy by Kat Driscoll who met Abbey High Fliers members during a training camp.

Youngsters had the chance to have their photo taken, wearing the Olympian’s GB kit.

Abbey High Fliers were then given the opportunity to show off their trampoline routines and receive useful feedback and inspiration from Driscoll including a group chat on positive presentation and attitude.
