Gosberton Risegate team 4G Racing head into the short break with a lot of work to do following round five of the MG Trophy Championship at Castle Combe.

Tom Diment won the Peter Best Insurance MG Cup and John Gil was first in the 160 class of the MG Trophy along with a new lap record.

Novice driver Jim Kennon claimed a season best of fifth place in both races in the 170 class.

However, with cars driven by Ross Makar and Daniel Molloy damaged beyond repair, the team will spend the next four weeks building vehicles from scratch to get on the grid for Oulton Park.
