Pete Budd won Spalding and District Table Tennis League’s Veterans title to conclude the individual finals.
He secured a 11-6, 11-5, 12-10 over Colin Vertigan, which brought the curtain down on another successful season for the league.
Although the competitive action is now over, the league continues to hold its open evenings on Wednesday nights at the Castle Sports Complex.
Cost is just £3, with training and the ‘robot pong’ machine available for all in attendance.
