Exciting Spalding swimming star Chloe Hannam was among the medals at the 16th Luxembourg Euro Meet.
Hannam, who was representing City of Peterborough Swimming Club (COPS), rubbed shoulders with some of the best swimmers in the business at the top international meet.
Hannam came home with a third-place finish in the senior final of the 200m backstroke – and wasn’t far behind world number one Katinka Hoszu from Hungary.
As well as her bronze, the former South Lincs Competitive Swimming Club ace pocketed 100 Euros for her efforts.
Prior to her European adventure, Hannam picked up a stack of medals for COPS at the ASA National Central Zone Championships.
The 17-year-old stormed to a hat-trick of wins to grab gold in the 200m freestyle, 800m freestyle and 200m backstroke. She also secured second-placed finishes, in the 200m and 400m individual medley races.
Hannam is now looking forward to April’s Commonwealth Trials in Glasgow.
