Paul Glenister rolled back the years to win Spalding Squash Club’s 1970’s-themed handicap tournament.

All players had to use 70’s style wooden rackets and got into the spirit of things with white kit and a fine display of moustaches.

Using the wooden Donnay junior squash racket he was given when he was sponsored as a teenager, Glenister played some exquisite shots to come through the league stages.

He then went on to win the round-robin finals ahead of runners-up Rob Gordon and Paul Devey.

The tournament was put on as part of the year-long celebration of the 40th anniversary of the formation of Spalding Squash Club.
