After a fantastic 2014/2015 swimming season, South Lincs are now back to hard work in the training pool in preparation for the new 2015/2016 season.

South Lincs enjoyed a fantastic season last year culminating in three boys qualifying for the Summer National Championships.

Luke Elliott (16) qualified for five events and Tom Mitchell (17) qualified for three events, while William Swain (15) and Elliott both qualified for two events at the English National Championships.

At the British Championships, Elliot recorded three personal best times with his best performance coming in the 50m backstroke where he finished ninth in the under-16 final.

A week later at the English Nationals, Swain also qualified for a final in the 15-year-olds category 200 metres freestyle where he finished 10th.

Head coach Callum Lawson said: “I am looking forward to the coming season as we have new things planned into training.

“I think it is going to be a great 2015/2016 season, with hopefully more swimmers qualifying for all levels of competition from county up to national and possibly even the British Championships.”
