At least three teams go into tonight’s fourth round of Spalding and District Snooker League fixtures with three wins from as many games.

Tulips A, Consti F and Consti J lead the top three divisions respectively after maintaining their 100 per cent records with important victories.

In the top flight, Tulips A ended the flawless start of fellow club side Tulips B with a 4-2 triumph.

Nick Savic (O35) made a 27 break en-route to a black-ball win for the new leaders, while Bren Bowman (O63) made a 27 break in their most emphatic frame success.

Previous leaders Holbeach C saw their super start shattered by a 5-1 loss at Services E.

Wins from Vince Fitter (O14), Martin Spencer (O14), Chris Dunmore (O21) and Phil Spencer (O14) got the job done for the Spalding side.

Pyramid B’s Jason Green (O56) enjoyed the best break in Division One. His timely 38 helped settle the final frame in a 4-2 win over Long Sutton A.

In Division Two, Consti F sit three points clear after easing past hosts Crowland A 5-1.

Robert Adams (O14), Kevin Ekins (R14), Bryan Turnell (R14) and Justin Stanley (scr) were the frame winners.

Boundary A enjoyed their best win of the season as they walloped Whittlesey C 6-0 to climb up to third.

Andy Mowforth (O14) enjoyed the best break of the match with a cool 22 for the Deepings side, who have two wins from two.

That’s a record shared by Whittlesey A, who shaded a tight derby with Whittlesey B 4-2 to move into fourth.

Pam Slaughter (R21) clinched the victory with a black-ball success in frame three.

Meanwhile, Consti J continue to go great guns in Division Three. They pipped Services D 4-2 after Stuart Davies won a last-frame showdown with Mark Howlett (scr).

Davies (O21) made a 23 break in the process.

They are two points clear of Long Sutton C, who breezed to a dominant 6-0 away return at Pyramid E.

A 22 clearance from the red-hot Daniel Mayfield (O21) was the highlight, but there were also wins for Gavin Shinkin (R7), Rachel Mayfield (R21), Susan Lefley (R14) and David Lefley (scr).

Paul Boucher (O28) was another to make a 22 clearance as his Holbeach USC B side defeated Boundary C 4-2.

Holbeach’s cause was also helped by narrow wins by Richard Lowe (O7) and Baz Haynes (R7) on the final black.

Consti E are also enjoying a solid start. They are fourth after seeing off Gosberton D 4-2 in the tightest of tussles.

A 21 break from Shane Davies (O21) couldn’t deny the hosts, with Bob Adams (O7) sealing the win.
