Pinchbeck East School competed in the Lincolnshire volleyball final for the sixth time in seven years after winning the local area tournament before Easter.
Having won it three times, they set off with great expectations of winning at Cherry Willingham School in Lincoln.
Hennie Boekestyn, Charlie Healey, Tom Wand and Kacper Figura played amazing three-touch volleyball in all seven games.
The points scored in each game total up through the event to find an eventual winner. Pinchbeck East finished in second place behind Richmond School, who beat them 11-10.
PE teacher Sally Robinson said: “I was immensely proud of our players and they represented Pinchbeck East brilliantly.”
