SPALDING SPARKS GREEN 39 ALL BLACKS 15: SPALDING continued their impressive start in the second tier of the Stamford Netball League with a fifth win on the spin.

Sparks Green – who were narrowly relegated from the top flight at the end of last season – are looking to bounce straight back after defeating All Blacks.

Lisa Broderick notched the player of the match award with an impressive shooting display, while captain Clare Barnett shone with a stand-out defensive performance.

But the entire team, which included Sophie Hallam, Kat Braybrook, Carla Burdall, Amy Leverton and Lara Ray on Tuesday night, are playing well as a unit – and have already amassed an impressive 138 goal difference due to their league dominance.
