Annabel Murcott’s Schools of Tae Kwon Do have been enjoying plenty of success recently.

Students from the Spalding, Bourne and the Deeping areas travelled to Worcester to join up with more than 1,500 competitors from across Great Britain for the English Championships.

There were also several overseas competitors that came over to get some practice ready for the European Chamionships in Davos, Switzerland.

As well as students gaining many medals at the English Championships, senior instructors Annabel Murcott, a 6th Dan, and 4th Dan Dale Pollard were asked to go to Davos a week later to represent England as referees for the Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain.

Murcott said: The students, as always, gave their best at the English Championships and made us proud and brought home some more medals.

“It was also a great honour for Dale and myself to be asked to officiate at the European Championships.”

Murcott would love to attract newcomers to her schools, saying: “It’s a life-changing challenge that’s fun for the whole family.”
