RYAN Rudd stole the show for Team TRM at Chatteris with a stunning motocross display.
Riding in his Big Wheel category, the hi-octane youngster placed third overall in a hugely competitive section.
He scored finishes of third and fourth in his first two races, before storming to an incredible second place in the finale. With a number of national riders in the race, this really was a fine return.
Not to be outdone, younger brother Ashley Rudd actually went one better in the Small Wheel.
He picked up a fourth and two second places to grab the runner-up position overall. His highlight was battling back from tenth place in the opener to score an unlikely fourth position.
There was also another exciting showing from six-year-old prodigy Kieran Rudd.
Despite being by far the smallest rider in the 30-man field, he picked up finishes of 16th, 18th and 19th to guarantee an impressive 17th place at the end of the day.
Meanwhile, supermoto specialist Lee Rudd had a rare crack at motocross in the over-35 field.
He bagged two sixth places and a fifth for a solid fifth spot overall.
Lee – along with Ryan and Ashley – will be back in more familiar surroundings as the Holbeach team head to Three Sisters for some supermoto action this weekend.
