BEN Wilson’s “unfinished business” and determination to win the 2012 Fuchs Silkolene British Supersport Championship will again be with the Gearlink Kawasaki team.

The talented Kirton rider missed winning the championship by a single point this year.

With nine wins, seven seconds and two third places from 24 races, Wilson was hardly off the podium and he will be aiming his sights on further improvement next time around.

Wilson said: “I am delighted to be riding for Gearlink Kawasaki again next year.

“This will be my fourth year with the team who are a pleasure to work with.

“We know what we have to improve on this time and why we didn’t quite manage to win the championship last season.

“I have unfinished business in Supersport and really want to win the title.”

Team owner and manager Michael de Bidaph said: “I am really happy that we have managed to re-sign Ben for 2012.

“Obviously we were disappointed that Ben missed out on the championship last season but he intends to rectify that in 2012.”

David Jones, who joined the team towards the end of last season, has again been signed to be Wilson’s team-mate.
