Knockhill threw up a mixed bag of results for Wyberton’s G&S Kawasaki riders.
Tom Fisher got caught up in another rider’s crash in the Superstock 1000 class while Kevin Van Leuven completed his shortened race in 14th place to pick up two further championship points in the Superstock 600 class.
Team manager Mark Fisher said: “Tom was disappointed with his grid position but he got a cracking start and was looking at a top-10 result.
“He has made a massive step forward since his points finish at Snetterton but it was unfortunate to become embroiled in someone else’s crash.
“Luckily Tom was unhurt but I can’t say the same for the bike as it suffered major damage and I am going to be busy rebuilding it for the next round.
“Kevin went well in his shortened race. He was fine when it started to rain and was looking to move forward, he could have easily made his way up into sixth or seventh place but the red flag put paid to that.”
The next round is at Brands Hatch over the weekend of July 17-19.
