SPALDING Indoor Bowls Club completed a summer whitewash over rivals Long Sutton IBC after winning the fourth and final friendly clash between the two.
They won on five of the six rinks for an overall winning margin of 122-75.
The Long Sutton team has included a rink from Pentney in Norfolk and the four games have been played to a high standard, with Spalding winning all four.
Spalding’s captain of the day, Roger Perkins, thanked all taking part and the courtesy shown by Roy Smith of Long Sutton. The top winning rink for Spalding on the day was Chris Williamson, Jan Sinclair and skip Brian Stuckey.
