After qualifying for the regional team at the county competition, Holbeach gymnasts Kerry Chelsom, Maddie Yellop and Lydia Burton travelled to Leicester to represent Lincolnshire.

Chelsom competed in the 8/9 year team where all the girls gave solid performances as they gained the bronze medal.

Burton was part of the 12/13 year old team who all performed impressive floor routines and dynamic vaults to take team silver. She also scooped individual silver in her age group.

Yellop competed in the 10/11 year team who also took silver.

A club spokesman said: “The coaches are extremely proud of all three girls for making the team and the hard work they have put into training. Well done to all gymnasts who represented Lincolnshire, what great team spirit there was on the day!”
