Nine members of Spalding Gymnastic Club helped guide Lincolnshire to glory in the Regional Inter-County Floor and Vault finals.

The Spalding gymnasts were all delighted to represent their county at the event held at New College in Leicester.

In the 8/9 years age group, Spalding were represented by Ruby Vertuccio (who is county level 5 floor and vault champion) and Alice Bailey.

Evie Freeman and Erin Bailey competed in the10/11 age group, while in the 12/13 section Dulcie Baker and Sian Matson were the representatives.

Also performing in the 14 and over category were Tyler-Mae Harker, Yasminder Bhondi and Chelsi-Lee Parker.

Those nine made up a large slice of the squad of 20 who represented Lincolnshire, who won the overall Shield for the competition.

Lincolnshire also won team gold in the 8/9 years group, bronze in the 10/11yrs section, gold in the 12/13 category and gold again in the 14 and over pool.
