SUPER Spalding High School picked up a clutch of medals at the Lincolnshire Secondary Schools’ Gymnastic competition.

Their under-13 girls team took gold at the floor and vault event in Grantham, with the ‘B’ team placing fifth in the same category.

Also on song for Spalding High were the under-16 team, who were narrowly beaten into second spot.

At junior level, Rosie Fresen was a splendid second individually, superbly backed up by Hannah Lawrence in third, Kate Amess in fourth and sixth-placed Holly Mear.

Lauren Cook also placed well individually, clinching fourth in the under-16 category.
