GYMNASTICS: Gleed students enjoy mixing it up!

Spalding’s Sir John Gleed School was able to enter mixed teams in the Lincolnshire Senior Schools Floor and Vault Competition for the first time, after merging, and came away with three county champion teams.

The U13 champs were Bailey Harker, Kinzi Stoke, Anna Lucyna, Ramita Dulkyte and Antigone Wright.

U16 winning team consisted of Modestas Kandalovas, Sophie Crowson, Laura Delve, Tyler Harker and Mandana Mir Javidi.

It was Modesta’s first gymnastic competition and he won first place in the boys Level 1 category.

And the U19 winners were Ivan Freitas, Emma Goodliff, Teghan Mills, Emma Gregory and Molly Howitt.

Other individual successes saw Ivan Freitas place third in the Level 1 boys, Teghan Mills take first place in the Level 1 girls, with Molly Howitt second.

In the Level 2 girls first place went to Emma Goodliff with the day’s highest score, and Emma Gregory came third.
