SUCCESSFUL Spalding Gymnastic Academy were among the medals once again as they hosted the Rainbow Challenge Cup.
The national event utilised just the beam and floor, with the host team excelling across a number of levels.
In the level five junior group, Sian Matson won the silver on beam, while Erin Bailey was fourth on beam and joint third on floor with team mate Dulcie Baker. Spalding’s Evie Freeman was just ahead of them in second spot.
The level five senior category saw Elexia Coote finish fourth on beam before earning a bronze on floor.
Simran Bhondi and Tyler-Mae Harker couldn’t be separated on the beam and took a joint third, with Sophie Whittington just behind them in fifth.
Jennifer Platt was was fifth on the floor at level four, while in the senior round Lois Lachesseigne claimed a magnificent gold on beam, as well as fifth on floor. Also placing well were Rosana Fresen, who was third on beam and fourth on floor, while Lucinda Thompson managed fourth on beam.
Elsewhere, at level three junior, Serena Leadbeater managed third on beam and took fourth on floor, while Amy Loveridge took bronze on floor.
There was gold for Emma Coddington at level three junior on the floor, while she was also fourth on beam. More medals followed as Francesca Harper managed third on beam and fourth on floor, while Clara Willis took silver on beam and bronze on floor.
