Lady captain’s day at Spalding saw 72 members play in a Stableford competition over 18 holes.
This competition was given a twist by lady captain Paula Brown in that each team of three did not know whose score would count until they reached the next tee.
There was also the possibility of minus scores on the back nine.
The winners were Elaine Hancock, Angela Roper and Eden Inglis.
Second place went to Ruth Atkins, Barbara Newcombe and Jane Woolard.
In third place were Sue Matthews, Olive Gooderson and Margaret Barkway.
Nearest the pin on the ninth for Division Two was Matthews and on the 16th for Division One was Roper.
The half-way house was attended by Roger Brown and John Newcombe who served Pimms and refreshments provided by members. The competition was followed by tea served in the clubhouse.
