Top met bottom in Group A of the EBA Section Four Club Championship at Bourne and the result went to form, with visitors Spalding Town A winning 10-0.
Town have now won five out of five this season, whereas Bourne are still rock bottom, having lost every fixture.
Carter’s Park are still second after victory over Donington and Ayscoughfee move from fifth to third after beating struggling Consti 8-2.
T Gowing, D Turner, M Bingham and C Warboys won the final rink 19-14 to seal the victory after Consti had won the first rink.
Other games saw Moulton Harrox beat Whaplode Drove and Royal Mail beat Consti 8-2, with their best rink a 30-11 score for JN Allen, B Wilson, J Allen and S Lilley.
In Group B, Gosberton are the new leaders after victory over Castle B. D Bannister, A Nichols, S Ruskin and N Wilkinson won the decisive third rink 26-11.
Castle A moved away from the bottom places with a very close victory against Deepings.
Goodfellowship made short work of Castle A to top Triples A, P Rate, A Everitt and S Hoyles’ 29-12 victory in the second rink doing the most damage.
Consti A are hot on their heels after the 10-0 thrashing of lowly Consti B, the 28-9 opening rink win of M Hubbert, P Stacey and J Merrison setting them on their way.
Carter’s Park A stay in touch too after a comfortable victory against Billingborough.
Holbeach USC top Triples B after beating Moulton Harrox B 10-0, the third rink of G Steward, L Curtis and J Barker really going to town with a 30-7 win.
Ayscoughfee were occupying the top spot until their 10-0 beating at Spalding Town A, although the match was a lot closer than the score seems.
It was also a good day for Spalding Town C who recovered from four straight defeats to beat Gosberton 8-2, after losing the opening rink.
Spalding Town B drop down the table, though, and after winning the opening rink against Carter’s Park B, capitulated to lose the final rink, K Gray, J Taylor and K Howard enjoying a 28-7 victory.
