There was an excellent turnout to support Chris Vickers for her Captain’s Day at Spalding.
Ladies played a Stableford competition in teams of three with two scores to count on each hole and the added challenge of a ‘yellow peril’.
The winners were Norma Parker, Angela Roper and Mathilde Kedzlie with 85 points – one ahead of Olive Gooderson, Sue Matthews and Margaret Barkway.
The longest drive on the 15th, 0 to 24 handicap, was won by Di Platt, and for 25 to 36 handicap Lainy McLeman. Nearest the pin on 16th, 0 to 24 handicap, at 2 feet 4 inches was Paula Brown and nearest the pin on the 9th for 25 to 36 handicap was won by Lynda Double with a magnificent hole-in-one.
