FLAWLESS Martin Adams remains on-course for a hat-trick of BDO World Darts Championships after sweeping aside Gary Stone 4-0 on Tuesday night.
Deeping ace “Wolfie”, who is the top seed at Lakeside, needed just 44-minutes to dismiss the play-off qualifier from Scotland.
Although the 55-year-old England skipper only averaged 90, his finishing was clinical and he is yet to lose a set in the competition so far.
Adams said: “I know there are a lot of shaky bits in my game. I’ve still got a little bit of work to do but I’m pleased.
“I’m just taking it game by game, round by round. Hopefully there will be players to push me and that’s when I’ll find out if I’ve still got it.”
Next up for Adams is a tough test against Tony O’Shea tomorrow (Thursday).
