BUOYANT Bull B opened up a four-point lead at the top of Holbeach and District League Division Two after slaying their nearest rivals.
In what was the big game of the week, the second tier leaders produced a near-flawless showing to prevail 16-3.
Graham Atkin, Gary Skeels, Adam Godfrey, Simon Waterfall, Adam Brand and James Truman won all of their singles games convincingly, while the table toppers bagged both doubles games too.
Truman was Bull’s best performer though, throwing a fine 16-dart leg as his team made it five wins from six.
Elsewhere in Division Two, K Newton nailed a 177 as Legion A piled on the misery for Golden Lion. The basement side were handed a fourth defeat in five games, this time by a 13-8 scoreline.
In the third tier, Five Bells A jump to the top after a hard-fought 12-8 win over Crown and Mitre.
A lightning start was key to the victory, with the new leaders racing into a 10-3 lead after the opening five showdowns.
But in the end, Les Marson’s 2-1 win over Carol Godfrey wrapped up the points.
Tigers C also won well, as Bradley Brothwell hit a 140 in their 13-6 success at Chequers to elevate themselves into second spot.
