Velo-One riders Adam Ellis, Joshua Wallis and Neil Palmer travelled to Rockingham Motor Speedway for the NCRA Handicapped Circuit Series.

A hour of full gas racing on the circuit saw Palmer, in his first-ever road race, hold off the chasing peloton to finish sixth overall with Wallis and Ellis comfortably in the main group.

Moving back into familiar testing territory, Palmer and team-mate Antony Gough competed at the Bourne Wheelers Open 25 Mile TT.

A strong rider entry was received for the event held on the C25/35 course with a number of riders going under the magic hour.

Palmer finished fourth overall with a time of 54:34 and Gough was seventh with 55:15.

The event was won by Peterborough rider James Gelsthorpe with a time of 53:40.

Focus now moves to the Lincolnshire Road Riding 25 Mile TT Championships on Sunday where Velo-One will be looking for individual and team success.

Paul Hutchinson travelled to Orston for the next round of the Velo99 Handicapped Road Race Series. Starting in the scratch group, he was 14th overall and joint-fourth in the group.

A busy week finished with Wallis racing the British Cycling Category 3/4 Circuit race at Darley Moor, finishing a strong sixth and gaining his Category 3 Race Licence.
