Spalding were represented in most county finals, winning their fair share with more titles potentially on the way.

Matt Whyers clinched a nail-biting match when he beat Ian Clarke from Boston 21-20.

Ruby Hill became the youngest ever winner of the county singles when she beat Lincoln’s J Squires 21-6.

Graham Smith and Ashley Caress lost a close match 15-12 to Grantham’s Martin Pulling and Matt Orrey.

Danielle Wild (subbing for Annie Dunham), Hill, Rebecca Simpson and Chelsea Tomlin won the fours title when they beat S Stainton (Louth) 23-14.

Aaron Wild beat Nicole Moseley in an all-Spalding under-18 junior singles final, taking the match 21-15.

Hill (subbing for Dunham), Simpson and Tomlin lost the triples final 16-10 to O Wells from Horncastle.

Spalding are guaranteed at least one more title as Hill plays Tomlin in the under-25 ladies singles.
