Holbeach USC A were their latest victims, with Norman Gookey (R80), Jim Thompson (R30) and Sid Shaw (O10) – who managed a 25 break – all frame winners.

At the top, Holbeach USC B made it eight wins on the spin by seeing off Long Sutton 5-2, despite a 40 break from Adam Barwell (scr).

Consti C did cut their lead at the top to eight points though, and dispatched friendly foes Consti D 8-0.

Best break of the week went to Crowland B’s Rob Childs (O190), who reeled off scores of 73, 46 and an unfinished 42 in a 5-2 home win over Consti A.

Elsewhere, Pyramid B crushed Gosberton 7-0, with Martin O’Connor (R10) pocketing a 28 break.
