Crowland B extended their winning streak in the Spalding and District Billiards League to nine games last week – but they lost more ground on leaders Long Sutton.

The second-placed side won 5-2 at Consti A, with Rob Childs (O190) making a 61 break as he won a titanic frame against Hugh Pinner (O170).

However, table-topping Long Sutton streaked 14 points ahead with their fourth 7-0 success on the spin. Holbeach B were their latest victims, with Sean Swinburn (O20) leading the way with a 45 break.

Third-placed Consti B cemented their position with a narrow 4-3 success over Holbeach C, thanks to frame wins from Mick Johnson (R30) and Steve Spencer (R100).
