Records rolled as archers from Spalding’s Silver Spoon Bowmen bossed their first indoor competition of 2013.
Friskney Bowmen hosted the event, with Emily Must winning the senior ladies’ compound from Stephanie Mountney by one point. Mountney did break the club’s Double Portsmouth record, though.
Dan Smith then won the senior gents’ compound with Ryan Mountney third, while Sam Newton was first in the senior gents’ recurve.
Charlene Marsh shot a new personal best (PB) to win the junior lady compound event, while there was second-placed finishes for Lynn Fisher (senior lady recurve) and John Shinkin (senior gents’ longbow).
Ian Prior was also second in the junior gents’ recurve, but shot a big PB in the process.
The Bowmen’s all-round top show led to Dan Smith, Sam Newton and Lynn Fisher winning the team trophy, with Fisher and partner John winning the husband and wife trophy.
