TEENAGER Peter Bell has reeled in both of British Sugar Club Fishing Section’s top trophies this season.
The Spalding 16-year-old landed the BSC Club Shield and Club Championship, defeating 23 other club members over a year of fishing.
Held mainly at Decoy Lakes, the Shield was played over ten matches and the Club Championship fished over 20.
Bell won four, managed a quartet of second places and was third twice, meaning his was in the top trio 50 per cent of the time.
Over the 20 matches he caught in excess of 870lb of fish, with carp featuring the most. His top individual weight was 145lb 10oz, with was fished over six hours.
