This weekend’s stock car and banger racing action at the Adrian Flux Arena, King’s Lynn, features four formulas with plenty of local drivers set to take to the track.
Proceedings begin at 6pm on Saturday with racing for Two-Litre Saloon Stock Cars, Two-Litre Bangers, Lady Bangers and Junior Bangers.
The Stock Car entry includes Moulton’s Jamie Clayton, a race winner last time out and currently placed fifth in the track championship standings.
Gosberton’s Andi Newman also claimed a win at the meeting a fortnight ago. This time he will be hoping to do it in less spectacular style, rolling his car yards after taking the flag.
“I thought I’d make a good ‘photo finish’!” laughed Newman.
Spalding driver Tom Yould will also be in action.
The Two-Litre Bangers contest their annual Norfolk Team Championship, defended by popular entertainers the Mad Hatters who will once again be making the trip from Bourne.
For the Lady Bangers, it is British Championship time. Boston driver Amy Brown is among the favourites for victory as she targets reclaiming the title she last won three years ago.
The Junior Banger entry is headed by Wisbech-based English champion Wayne Cottrill.
