Market Deeping darts ace Martin ‘Wolfie’ Adams has certainly had plenty to howl about recently.
The three-time world champion has really hit top form in recent weeks as he chalked up a trio of impressive successes.
He followed in the footsteps of Eric Bristow, Phil Taylor and Andy Fordham when winning the British Darts Pentathlon – a tournament which includes a range of darts disciplines where players accummulate points for each.
Adams took the title with a score of 438 points with former world champion John Walton the runner-up on 416.
Adams is clearly well suited to the format as he won for the tenth time to maintain his superb recent form.
His first win was back in 1994 and he joined John Lowe as a ten-time winner.
Adams has now won his last three tournaments after winning theWelsh Open for the first time and recording a double success in the BDO Pontins International Open, where he won the singles and mixed triples.
