Gosberton kart racer Abbi Pulling recorded her first A final victory of the season, just a day after changing her manufacturer.
The 11-year-old celebrated her switch to a Synergy kart with an impressive victory at Kimbolton Kart Circuit in Cambridgeshire.
Two heats decided the grid position for the final and the opening race saw Pulling produce an amazing comeback after being knocked off the track at the opening turn.
She rejoined the action back in 25th position and five seconds behind, but she carved her way past 19 drivers to finish sixth position.
The second heat produced another fantastic race with some drivers choosing wet tyres and some slicks.
Pulling opted for slick tyres and mastered the tricky conditions to come home in second place, qualifying in pole position for the A-final.
A good start saw her quickly take the lead for the first few laps of the final, dropping to a tactical second for the latter part of the race before producing an excellent finish.
Three karts were battling it out going ingo the final corner, where Pulling passed the current track champion to take the chequered flag.
Pulling, a pupil at Bourne Academy, has competed in 32 race meetings this year.
Most of them have been British or national championship rounds staged all over the UK, and she is now looking forward to challenging for the British Champion title next season.
She is currently the top female cadet racer in the UK but is determined to beat all of the male drivers to the British crown.
She would like to thank Kart Parts UK of Pinchbeck for their support this year.
Anyone interested in supporting her challenge for next year would be most welcome.
